Since the beginning of 1980's, the first piece of digital signal processor has come out, DSP bring the great chances for the development of digital signal processors, because they have the stable, repetitive, large-scale integrative characters, especially the programmable and simple port. Within recent years, because the development of produce technology of semiconductors and computer architectures, DSP chips have more and more functions to complete more complex algorithms. With the improvement of DSP's operation velocity, the research emphasis of signal process turns to real-time multiple channel signal process from original none real-time single channel signal process.TMS320LF2407A is the fixed 16-digits DSP produced by TI company used to control the motor and movement. It adopts the enhanced Harvard architecture inside, and holds the high speed capability. Also it integrated the peripheral devices for the motor control, and it makes digital movement control system with the core of TMS320LF2407A become one of the control projects with the most compact, best real-time, and best performance.Electromotor is one kind of most frequently-used electronic machine; it can make the electronic power into mechanic power. The application of electronic motor become more and more widely. Brushless DC Motor is used widely in the country's economic fields because it has the advantages of simple architecture, less maintenance, high efficiency and timing capability. In the use of Brushless DC Motor, because it is affected by the environment factors and motor itself, the accidents of burning is often occurs, it is need to do the necessary test and adjustment of motor's capability and parameters to verify if it fulfill the relevant technology rules, to make sure it's safe,reduce the economic loss, and improve the produce efficiency.In this paper, the motor data collection and control system based on TMS320LF2407A DSP makes the best of source inside the chip and its highly efficient operation process capability, aiming to the real-time test and supervision of multi-channel brushless DC motor. TMS320LF2407A computers and analysis the motor velocity data collected by the data collection module, and display them on the OLED monitor; then input the temperature into EEPROM. If the motor velocity is out of way, then the trouble information will be displayed on the screen to be convenient for the operator, with the sound alarm, it will control the motor through the exchange of relay. Besides of this, SCI module inside the TMS320LF2407A chip through the RS422 port exchanges the data information with upper machine. Meanwhile, all of the parameters information and alarm messages will be send to upper machines conveniently for the operators, and receive the control order from upper machine.Through the analysis of relevant documents inside and outside of the country, currently the research of motor adjustment system based on DSP is deeper and the technology is more mature. But the special instruments and devices are very rare for the test of motor's integration parameters; this system design has very important significance of realism and application value.This paper presents the relevant knowledge of DC motor, the development of digital signal processors, and the regular steps of development of DSP system. Secondly, it introduces the design and realizes of motor data collection and control system based on TMS320LF2407A DSP, and it discusses the hardware design and adjustment, software design and adjustment about the motor data collection and control system. Finally, it summarizes and predicts the development of next step.
