Research On Huawei's Technical Innovation Model From The Perspective Of STS

Technical innovation is an important means for enterprises to obtain market competitive advantage continuously,and it is also an important driving force for the steady and healthy development of national economy.China has made outstanding achievements in the long-term development,but in the current process of building an innovative country,there are still problems such as the weak overall innovation capability of the enterprise,insufficient basic research and breakthrough achievements,and so on.As the main body of innovation,an enterprise can choose an appropriate technical innovation model according to its own situation and external resources to gain the advantage in the fierce market competition,which helps to improve innovation efficiency and innovation capability.As the representative of our country's high-tech enterprises,Huawei has formed a unique model of technical innovation in the development of more than 30 years.In-depth research on it can provide useful reference for the innovation model selection of Chinese enterprises and a reference for relevant decisions of the government.The theoretical research of technical innovation,which began in Schumpeter's era,focused on the relationship between technology and economy.For a century,research in the academic world has mainly focused on the perspectives of economics and management,while studies of sociology and philosophy have been marginalized.From the perspective of STS,we can avoid static and isolated research vision,and turn to study the impact of various factors in the social system on the process of technical innovation and model selection,so that we can understand the dynamic process of the selection and evolution of technical innovation models of enterprises and other subjects more clearly.In addition to the introduction,this article will be divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,this article analyzes and contrasts the classic technical innovation models from different perspectives,and summarizes their social characteristics.In the second chapter,this article discusses the social attributes and characteristics of technical innovation and technical innovation models from the perspective of SST,and focuses on the analysis of the role of economic,political,and cultural factors in the selection and evolution of technological innovation models.Chapter three attempts to divide Huawei's development process into four stages:the initial stage,the domestic development and globalization exploration period,the globalization breakthrough period,and the globalization mature period,and systematically analyzes the evolution of its technical innovation mode under the influence of social factors at each stage,summarizes its two innovative model routes:"product imitation-from imitation to cooperation-open innovation and cooperative innovation-independent innovation under open conditions"and "based on customer needs-based on customer needs and technological leadership-based on vision-driven".The last chapter analyzes the changes and new features of Huawei's technical innovation model in the historical environment of the new era,points out the possible direction of theoretical research such as "agile innovation" and"vision-driven innovation" finally gives practical suggestions on the specific practice of technological innovation at the government and enterprise levels.
