With the social progress brought by science and technology, our concept of reading is also changing constantly. From traditional paper reading to diversified reading, especially the popularization of electronic reading, digital reading is gradually entering people's life, being accepted by people and occupying an important part in daily life.According to statistics, there is a significant trend of the Internet age in China, especially the number of young Internet users is increasing rapidly. The audience of digital reading has been extended to the minors aged from 6 to 18.With the vigorous development of digital reading,it is particularly important to fully understand the current situation of digital reading among teenagers and understand the factors affecting their digital reading behavior,so as to effectively guide teenagers to read digital books in order to meet their needs. This paper aims to clarify the needs of Chinese teenagers for digital reading and the factors affecting their digital reading behavior through empirical research. On this basis,it proposes specific suggestions to improve the level of Chinese teenagers' digital reading and promote the theoretical research and practical development of Chinese digital reading behavior.Based on the UTAUT model, the model of factors influencing the digital reading behavior of 12-18 year olds was developed in this paper. In this paper, questionnaire survey, interview, literature analysis, statistical analysis and other scientific research methods were mainly used.Perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, subjective norms and risk perception were taken as independent variables, reading intention as mediating variables, and digital reading behavior as dependent variables.By constructing the structural equation model, and carrying out the fitness analysis, hypothesis test and path analysis on the model, the factors influencing the digital reading behavior of 12-18 year olds were studied. The results show that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, subjective norms and risk perception have significant effects on the digital reading behavior of 12-18 year olds.Among them, risk perception has the greatest impact on the digital reading behavioral intention, which is the key factor influencing the digital reading behavior of 12-18 year olds.On this basis, combined with the research results and the reality of our country, drawing on the successful experience at home and abroad, this paper discusses the suggestions on the development of digital reading in China from the perspectives of digital resource builders, parents, schools and the government, taking the young people as the guide.Through the research of this paper,we hope to provide support for the government, schools and families to promote digital reading activities for teenagers, and provide a basis for practical work such as guiding teenagers to read digital books, improving the quality of digital reading information resources, and creating a good digital reading environment for teenagers.
