Research On The Criticism Of Wang Zhong In The Press In 1957

At the beginning,China was in the exploration period of the socialist road.The development of the party and the country was full of hardships and twists.In addition,the crisis in the international socialist camp,domestic contradictions caused the leaders'concern.At this time,Mao Zedong tried to call on intellectuals to help rectify the situation within the party through "booming." However,as intellectuals' criticism of the party became more intense,the Party Central Committee with Mao Zedong regarded the opinions of intellectuals as an attack on the party and socialism,which further exacerbated the contradictions between the party and intellectuals.It can be seen that the rectification campaign launched from top to bottom this time did not play a good role,and the anti-rightist struggle began in the country.The anti-rightist struggle of 1957 mainly showed the contradiction between socialist journalism and capitalist journalism in the press.Although Mao Zedong's judgments on these two types of journalism were mainstream,they could not effectively guide journalism,which eventually led to an anti-rightist struggle in the press.In general,the anti-rightist struggle in the press is mainly a critique of journalism practice,journalism tradition and journalism theory.Microscopically,Wang Zhong was criticized by the whole country as the agent of the bourgeois journalism theory.Unlike most people who immediately identified themselves as rightists and sincerely pleaded guilty and took the initiative to review,Wang Zhong refused to confess his guilt when facing criticism.This is unique in the anti-rightist movement,and undoubtedly worthy of further study.This article mainly adopts literature analysis method and the case study method.This research was carried out by collecting and sorting out materials such as "People's Daily","Jiefang Daily" and other newspapers,while referring to works in journalism and politics.The author believes that the theme is set to "Criticism of Wang Zhong in the Press in 1957 "with some innovations.The main performance is:On the one hand,the content of journalism history is little involved in the period of anti-rightist;on the other hand,Wang Zhong is the only person criticized in the field of journalism theory,but it is a blank in the research of journalism history that how to criticize Wang Zhong.The author mainly carried out discussions from the following four parts,in an attempt to clearly and comprehensively show readers "the critique of Wang Zhong by the press".The first part mainly introduces news activities in different life stages of Wang Zhong,and news theory completely.The second part,from a macro perspective,describes and analyzes the twists and turns in the exploration of the socialist road and the anti-rightist struggle in the press.It gives a more complete grasp of the anti-rightist struggle in the press in 1957.The third part analyzes the main content of the criticism of Wang Zhong in the press from the first-hand materials.The last part,further considers the characteristics of the incident and how to evaluate the criticism of Wang Zhong by the press.
