With the continuous improvement of social industry level,a growing number of stringent requirements have been put forward for the efficiency and accuracy of the finite element model and the weight of the model.As an advanced finite element pre-processing and post-processing and and analysis system in the world,MSC.Patran/Nastran has become an industry-recognized finite element analysis software.As a high-level programming language of MSC.Patran,Patran Command Language(hereinafter referred to as PCL)is becoming increasingly trusted in the engineering applications.Therefore,the research of PCL-based rapid modeling and lightweight design on MSC.Patran/Nastran platform is a very valuable topic.The purpose of this project is to improve the efficiency and accuracy of finite element model building and achieve the goal of lightweight structure.The main research contents are as follows:1.Using MSC.Patran as the development platform,the PCL was used to develop the user menu and interface with optimized functions.Users can directly complete the establishment of finite element model and automatically call MSC.Nastran for optimization analysis through the redeveloped menu and interface.2.Based on PCL and the powerful analysis and solution function of MSC.Nastran,using MSC.Patran log file to secondary program,a great deal of mainstream advanced optimization algorithms are introduced into the lightweight design of the structure.The lightweight design of dimensional discrete variable problems on MSC.Patran/Nastran platform is realized,which complements the existing optimization function of MSC.Nastran and greatly shortens the time of lightweight design.3.Taking the vessel stiffened plate structure and box section structure as examples,the corresponding rapid modeling and analysis interface is developed secondary based on PCL.Then,different optimization algorithms and optimization grouping strategies are applied to the lightweight design of single-objective and multi-objective for structures,and compared with the initial design scheme to verify the effectiveness of rapid modeling and lightweight design based on PCL language.
