Based on the development status of CAE software, compared the respective function, style and operation process of the current typical fluid analysis software FLUENT and the pre-processing software Gambit and structural analysis software NASTRAN and its pre-processor PATRAN,and Focused on analysis of the differences between them,the article pointed out that due to these differences, a considerable workload is gived to the numerical analysis of fluid and structure at the same time. In combination with the current processing technology and considering the requirements in shipmechanics calculations and liquid- solid coupling analysis, we use a pre-processing advantages PATRAN platform to develope a unified processing platform for sofeware NASTRAN and FLUENT. It provides new means for modeling, meshing, boundary conditions loading, environment setting, and fluid-solid coupling in the CAE.And then based on the Navier-Stocks equations for viscous, incompressible fluid and VOF method, utilizing the commercial CFD software FLUENT and its Function of the secondary development, we stimulate the real wave maked by rocker-flap wave generator in the offshore deepwater basin. Comparing the wave movement to the experiment data, it can be concluded that this 2-D numerical wave tank can stimulate the wave movement in deepwater basin effectively. It's propitious to solve the problem that the experiment is time-consuming, laborsome and costly. Furthermore,we import the result to the structure directly,and make some mechanical analysis to the wave-generator board.
