With the development of brain-machine interface technology,animal robots have attracted more and more researchers' interest.Thanks to its advantages of autonomous intelligence,high flexibility,low motion control requirements and low energy consumption,animal robots have great application value in biological research,natural disaster warning,field search and rescue.Among them,the pigeon robot is highly concerned because of its outstanding flying ability.At present,the current communication methods commonly used by animal robots limit the movement distance of pigeon robots,which is one of the problems that must be solved for its practical application.The system uses the way of map trajectory display to monitor the movement status of pigeons in real time;the system achieves the goal of remotely controlling pigeon robots online through the application of remote stimulation commands.The main work and research results of this paper are as follows:(1)The overall design of remote monitoring and control system for pigeon flight is completed.From the perspective of practical application,this paper comprehensively considered the factors such as the size and weight of pigeon load equipment,the distance of remote communication and the reliable working time,and then designed a system composed of pigeon flight remote monitoring and control devices carried by pigeons,data transfer software on the server,and human-computer interaction software on the client.With the help of GPRS network communication technology,the system expands the dove robot's activity space,and provides a solution for the dove robot's outdoor flight control.(2)Remote control equipment for pigeon flight was successfully developed.The circuit design and control program of the functional units such as central processing unit,GPRS communication unit,and GPS positioning unit were completed for specific indicators such as long communication distance and high positioning accuracy of the equipment,and equipment production and debugging were completed.(3)System-related supporting software was developed,including server data transfer software,client GPS map display software and wireless remote control stimulation software.The UDP protocol is used for data transmission between the device and the server to reduce data packet loss caused by network instability.The system realizes real-time display of pigeon movement trajectory,stimulus position labeling and online remote control of multiple body multi-parameters through client program design.(4)The performance test of the pigeon flight remote monitoring and control system was completed.The test is divided into simulation test and in-body test.The simulation test tests the various functions of the system.The results show that the functions of the system meet the expected requirements.Then the pigeon remote flight control test was carried out.The results show that the system can monitor the pigeon's movement trajectory in real time from a distance,dynamically adjust the pigeon's movement behavior,and operate stably outdoors.
