The Research On Public Service Of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center

With economy increasing and people's awareness of safeguarding rights improving,the government is required to diverse the public functions by strengthening national governance system and protecting citizens' legitimate rights in an all-round way."Public service" is one of the government functions,and it draws more and more attention from citizens.As an important part of the public cultural undertakings of archives,"Public service" is directly related to the public interest.Therefore,it's important to continue improving the level of public service to meet the needs about archives in aspect of service content and service mode.Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center is responsible for the management and service of local archives in Changzhou City.Its administrative function is to manage the literature of local government of Changzhou City.Its public service function is to provide information for the public,including science,education and other related information.Through investigation and discovery,the public service function of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center is still far from demand.Its role has not been fully played,and many aspects are left to be improved.According to the reasons above,this paper takes Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center as the main object of study,by methods of literature research,case study and interview,combining the theory of public service and public service research status of archives at home and abroad,to analyze the problems and its causes in practice of Changzhou,and to put forward the countermeasure.Through the study of public services of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center,this paper poses the following conclusions and opinions:first,current major public service awareness and the opening up of public service products is not enough.The public service and public service channels is not influential in four issues of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center public service.These problems not only show the integration of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center public service features,but also highlights the common problems of domestic archives of public service;second,the problems of Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center public service mainly include the nature of the case file hall.It influences public service by the validity and effect of strangeness archives public service popularization rate.Archives regulations urges archives staff to provide more qualified service to the public;third,according to the existing Changzhou Archives Exhibition Center public service problems,the key solution is the transformation of archives public service consciousness,improvement of the archives of public service products' opening up,extension of the archives of public service channels and enhancement of public awareness and influence.In order to keep Archives uphold the concept of "serving the people",public service should be improved continuously.
