The micro jetting and bonding forming technology has the advantages of low cost,wide range of usable raw materials,and environmental protection.The software plays an important role in micro jetting and bonding forming,which also has a great influence on the forming precision.However,the software generally does not have universality among different equipment.In this paper,a set of dedicated,high-efficiency,simple-to-operate data processing and control software was developed for independently produced micro jetting and bonding forming equipment.STL is commonly used as rapid prototyping file.There are many data in the STL file,and many vertices are repeatedly stored in the file.By establishing the topological structure of the points,edges and facets of the triangles,the repeated storage of the vertices was avoided and the correlation between the data was established,which provided convenience for STL defect repairing and slicing algorithm.The common defects of the STL file were then fixed and the 3D model was displayed using OpenGL.An algorithm for quickly generating ordered points of a path was designed.By dynamically maintaining a container of triangles which has slicing point with the slicing plane,the number of triangles processed in the algorithm of producing path was greatly reduced,and the efficiency of the algorithm was greatly improved.And the ordered slicing points of the path is quickly generated with the help the topology structure previously established.The C2 continuous closed cubic B-spline method was used to smoothly form the slicing path.According to the ordered slicing points of the path,the LU decomposition method based on the chasing method was used to quickly find the control vertices of the Bspline curve,and then the B-spline function was solved to smoothly generate the slicing path.And the graphics filling was quickly accomplished according to the particularity of the slice path,based on the parity fill.Moreover,an algorithm for widening the edge of the image edge was accomplished to enhance the edge of the product by adding binder to image edge during printing.To communicate with lower computer,a reasonable communication protocol was analyzed and designed,and serial communication was then established.Finally,the developed software was used to processing data and control the selfdeveloped micro jetting and bonding forming equipment to accomplish printing experiment.In the whole experiment,the software was easy to operate and ran smoothly,and the formed solid models have high precision and the dimensional error is within ±0.16 mm.
