3D printing technology which is a kind of advanced manufacturing technology developed in late 1980 s is one of the Rapid Prototyping technology.3D printing technology can save material,have more higher precision,use no fixture?tools?molds from model designing to model Prototyping,and it can manufacture the models with more higher complexity which are the advantages of 3D printing technology.With the rapid development in recent years,the application of 3D printing technology has occupied the important position in many industries.Therefore,there is very important value in the research of the key technology of 3D printing.In this paper,it does the research of 3D printing technology from many aspects,including slicing algorithm of the STL files,the planning of path-filling algorithm,the structural design of robot and software control.The content mainly includes the following aspects:(1)It come up with a kind of slicing algorithm based on the adjacency relations of triangles.The algorithm firstly sorts the triangles,then calculates the between the triangles and the tangent plane,finally connects the points and the outline is gotten.There is no need to put all of the triangles traversal every time when find the ones that intersects with the plane and the triangles can straightly be found;every intersection point is calculated only once which saves time and improve the efficiency.The algorithm has high precision.(2)It makes a detailed analysis on the path-filling trajectory planning and designs a composite filling algorithm.That is,firstly offset the current layer of inner and outer contours,then separate the zones that is needed to be filled,and fill the zones by reciprocating linear filing method;finally the composite filling algorithm is there.This algorithm can reduce the times of start-stop switch of motor which is used for pushing the material down.The efficiency of manufacturing can improve.(3)It does the structural design of the Delta robot,the selection of spare parts,and calculates the kinematics of the robot.And writes the movement control program of the robot based on LabVIEW software which matches with the temperature control system and feeding system in order to complete 3D printing.
