3D printing technology is one of the rapid prototyping technology. It began in the 1980s. After 30 years of growth, with the wave of intelligent manufacturing, the technology develop rapidly again. Now it provides a new manufacturing technology for individuals and enterprises that different from the traditional idea. FDM 3D printing technology (FDM) process due to its simple, clean and safe, rich material and low manufacturing cost, high accuracy and other characteristics are widely used in medical, architecture, archeology, education, industrial manufacturing and other fields. FDM process forming system including hardware and software systems. The data processing software is the core of software system. Researching the data processing algorithms help us to understand the key principles of various forming processes and to help improve the efficiency and accuracy of 3D printing forming. It is a very meaningful work. The main research contents of the paper as follow:(1) This paper comparative analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the various processes based on the study of 3D printing processes. Then paper described characteristics and advantages of the FDM process. Finish modeling and mathematical analysis of the main process parameters of FDM technology. Master the causal relationship between process parameters and manufacturing precision and the reason of several major forming errors generating.(2)The paper deeply analyzes the STL file structure of the 3D printing data processing software input model and plans the modules and processes of 3D printing data processing software modules and processes. Through study of three common slicing algorithm in application, put forward an improvements algorithms that called contour intersection maximum and minimum substitution evaluation slicing algorithm by programming. Introduction the Fundamental of OpenGL visualization Development Kit and realize the STL model display and operation.(3)After realizing the STL model slicing function, the paper studies the layered sectional filling method of FDM process. Study several major path filling algorithm and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages. Based on improving the old algorithm, design a new method based on hybrid filling contour intersection packet sequencing, and discussed the steps of the algorithm and geometric calculation in detail. Describes the CLI file structure and CLI generation programming methods. Eventually, integrate the obtained process parameters and the waypoints to achieve the output processing code.(4) Through both of FDM process the primary data processing algorithms in this paper, successfully generated the processing code. Design orthogonal experiment to realize FDM process parameters optimization. After analysis of the result of each group, obtain the optimal combination of parameters and test the parameters again to verify the correctness of optimization results.FDM 3D printing technology key algorithms and software of the data in this paper can generate the correct code and have the basic functions of forming. In addition, after orthogonal experiment, the optimized parameters indeed improve the product processing accuracy. I think this method of optimization has important guiding significance.
