Droplet jet 3D printing equipment needs related supporting technology software to ensure its smooth operation.In view of the problems that the supporting software of different droplet jet 3D printing equipment in foreign countries cannot be universally used due to process requirements and related software research and development technologies lag behind in China,this paper analyzes the working principle of the equipment and studies STL model optimization and visualization methods in combination with the functional requirements of the supporting technology software of self-developed droplet jet 3D printing equipment.Through in-depth analysis of layered slicing algorithm,path generation method and contour filling algorithm,and independently designed and developed a set of special,stable and efficient supporting technology software.Firstly,the optimization and visualization of STL model are realized.The triangular topological structure established in the process of reading the triangular data of STL model was used to filter the repeated data and repair the internal defects,and OpenGL graphical programming interface was used to conduct three-dimensional visualization of the optimized model.Secondly,a grouping and slicing algorithm based on the triangular patch topology is designed,which reduced the calculation amount of the layered slicing and the time complexity of the operation.Finally,a smooth and coherent tangent layer path is generated based on the cubic Bezier curve,and the tangent layer path characteristics and OddEvenFill filling rules are used for rapid filling.An algorithm for inward widening of the edge path of the tangent layer is designed,edge strengthening is achieved during the forming process.Combined with the working principle and functional requirements of the droplet jet 3D printing equipment,this paper planned the software workflow,designed the overall interface layout,and tested the developed software.The actual application results show that the software is easy to interact,run smoothly,and has high reliability.Adopt a variety of different binder and forming powder materials,use the software to set the model parameters for printing,forming sample size deviation within ± 0.12 mm,forming precision is high.
