Developmental dyslexia is a common learning disorder.The detection rate of dyslexia in Chinese school-age children is about 4.5%-8%.Accurate and efficient early screening for children with dyslexia is helpful to future interventions and treatments.Researchers from abroad have proposed a variety of rapid screening methods based on reading speed and accuracy,and domestic research work in this field is a bit of slower.In addition,the existing screening methods rely on manual operations in data recording and data analysis.And those methods are so highly specialized that it is difficult for ordinary teachers and parents to perform separately.That greatly reduces the efficiency of screening.In order to fill the gaps in this field,improve the efficiency and automation of screening tools,and to do early screening of children with dyslexia widely.Based on the screening methods of foreign scholars and the characteristics of children with dyslexia,a hypothesis of screening children with dyslexia based on reading speed,text size and other indicators is proposed.The feasibility of using the C-READ reading test to collect these indicators was studied.Based on the development requirements and design methods of the C-READ reading inspector,the development of the reading inspector and the development of the upper control APP were initially realized.This inspector can easily collect data related to dyslexia such as reading time,reading speed,accuracy,critical text size,etc.,and classify children through data collected.This CREAD inspector is used as an experimental tool.And two experimental studies have been carried out in order to verify the reliability of this tool and the classification effect of those indicators mentioned above.The experimental results show that the data measured by the inspector has great consistency.At the same time,the maximum reading speed measured by the inspector can be used as an effective indicator for dyslexia screening,and the classification effect is satisfactory.In addition,the C-READ inspector has a nice display effect and has complete functions such as recording data and analyzing results.
