The global e-commerce market has experienced rapid growth in the past decade.After 2016,the growth trend of developed countries such as Europe and the United States has slowed down.The emerging e-commerce market,which is dominated by Asia Pacific,the Middle East,Africa,Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe,has begun to leap forward.Among them,the rapid spread of Internet and mobile terminals in India has made it the second largest Internet market in the world only after China.Coupled with the status of the second largest populous country,its huge potential for consumption has made it an important emerging market for global investors.Based on the traditional factors affecting investment environment,such as politics,economy,social culture,etc.,I choose a first-level indicator of E-commerce industry supporting services closely related to the e-commerce industry,and secondary indicators with e-commerce laws and regulations,Internet penetration rate and warehousing and logistics,which can reflect the developent level of e-commerce.Therefore,the established evaluation index system can better reflect the characteristics of the e-commerce industry.Then,I calculate the weights of indicators at all levels with the analytic hierarchy process;The scoring of each secondary indicator is based on authoritative data;Finally,the weighted summation method is used to combine the score value with the weight to obtain the final score of the foreign investment environment assessment of the e-commerce industry in India.It can be seen from the score that India has a good political environment,huge potential in the e-commerce market,relatively complex social culture,infrastructure is gradually improving,foreign investment restrictions are gradually relaxed,e-commerce laws and regulations are gradually improving,and E-commerce industry supporting services are also constantly developing.
