Design And Development Of General Business System Based On XML

With the development of science and technology,the information's generation and the delivery speed is more faster and faster,the cost is getting lower and lower,and the information technology has become one of the most active,the fastest growing,the most influential and the most permeable technology.Informatization is a profound revolution,it has a huge impact in many areas of society,for example,on the traditional production,on the way of how we live and think and on the operation of modern enterprises as well.It helps and promotes the economic and society to be developed in a rapid and balanced way.However,the corresponding information system does not keep up with the pace of the information development,due to the most domestic enterprises started its informatization later than those foreign enterprises.And the pace is relatively slow.The replacement of the information system within the enterprise is also slow.Many existing old information system has limitation and hysteresis in the functionalities and also in the areas they can be used.Such as they cannot be used in those portable intelligent devices,system upgrade speed cannot keep up with the speed of enterprise business development,system replacement cycle is too long,the cost is too high and too much risk etc.All of those are not only the difficulties and dilemma faced by domestic enterprises,but also stop them from rapid development.This paper mainly focuses on the universality,the expansibility and adaptability of modern enterprise information system,and work out a general business system with flexible designs which based on XML and very porpular front-end technology-Bootstrap framework.The main work of the paper are:(1)The establishment of XML model,according to the XML good extendibility,design XML template prototype with customized XML node and the XML template engine,and then the enterprise business system can be extended its business collection function through creating new XML template as needed.(2)Practice front-end Bootstrap framework,utilize its advantage of crossing plateform,practice and explore its best practices.(3)XML performance tuning,XML is a general,cross platform language.But it was not recommended to be used by big enterprise system due to its performance issue when parsing.This paper still uses the old mechanism to handle XML,but introduce Redis Caching to cache the parse results and to see how the performance will be.It might provide some basis for future studying of XML performance tuning of the enterprise system.(4)Deployment as SaaS software services,deploy this system into Microsoft Azure plantform as “SaaS”.And then analyze its prons and cons from different perspective e.g.software maintenance,cost,upgrade,transformation and other aspects.Through the actual project operation and testing,the general business system is a proper solution to solve those difficulties faced by domestic enterprises,greatly improving the information system development costs and efficiency.
