Design And Implementation Of Wireless Display On Set Top Box

Wireless display technology is based on Wi-Fi wireless network screen cast technology.This technology can get rid of the shackles of the screen cable by using the existing hardware and software technology,making the screen display easier to use and convenient,without incurring the cost increase.This thesis takes Wi-Fi Alliance's Miracast wireless display technology as a research subject,mainly describes the basic technologies of Miracast,such as Wi-Fi Direct,streaming media protocols bundle,HDCP Copyright Protection and Wi-Fi Display,provides the functional design diagram the various modules corresponding to the basic technologies,and completes the code implementation and modules API providing on set-top box platform.Following is the main research work in this thesis?First of all,the principle of Wi-Fi Display as the core technology of Miracast is studied seriously and the Wi-Fi Display session establishment process is understood and analyzed deeply.Secondly,the software modules and the flow of communication between these modules for wireless display screen cast process is designed and implemented.Finally,the application is implemented for playing and display.The hardware de-multiplexer and the A/V decoders of the set-top box platform are used to speed up the steps of TS stream processing.After debugging and optimization,the test result also meets the requirements of Wi-Fi display specification.
