Vision is the most important way for human to recognize the world. People use their eyes to study, observe and entertain in daily activities. Because the principle of vision is the reflection or refraction of rays being emitted on the object which construct images in our eyes, there is a simple way called display technology which could making images by creating rays without the object itself. This kind of technology becomes more and more important and many new display devices are developed rapidly which change people's life a lot.But there is a big limitation of the modern display technology that is most of them is 2D display like TV or movie etc. Even they could bring us a colorful vision experience; they are still different from the real 3D world. Flat monitors usually emulate 3D images by perspective which makes use of human vision experience to get the lost depth data subjectively. Perspective could be satisfied in normal occasion, but in highly request condition like CAD, the real 3D display is really needed.The dissertation analyzed volumetric 3D display theoretical model and developed a real 3D display technology which accords with human vision habit much. The system uses a panel with emissive LED matrix rotating of a vertical axis to construct 3D scene by display a serials of 2D images. The image displayed by volumetric 3D display is float in the atmosphere which could be viewed by different observers from different view angle and its performance is much better than the other 3D display technologies.Because of the high speed rotating of the panel, a high stability of mechanical system is strongly required. The dissertation analyzed the system's whole structure with considering image's abnormality and panel's off-axis, performs a error correction analyze and bring forward a new way to advance mechanical system by analyzing axis's liberations with validating formulas and experiments result. In another hand, the dissertation demonstrates the motor selection precept from analyzing of rotating inertiato advance system's stability.In addition, a wireless transmission method by Infra-red had been discussed and a basic transmission circuit had been designed. It provides a basic foundation for design a next generation system.
