For researchers,Confucius advocated "reviewing the past to learn the new".With highly development of electronic media in our society,It can be said that reviewing the important thoughts of the predecessors and developing new ideas are the two driving forces for the progress of the discipline.Therefore,this paper will focus on "Marshall Mcluhan's media views" of communication,Breaking the stereotype of "technological determinism"and connect the “technology” and "culture” in front of the media.This paper attempts to re-explore McMahon's theory by means of "de-intermediation",so we can truly "find the roots" of media.Based on this,this paper puts an end to the persistent "technological determinism" of researchers for hundreds of years.Inspired by the ever-changing media environment and speculated on "Mcluhan's media views".By comparing the media reality with McMahon's media theory,the paper explores the minimum factor of information transmission in the electronic society from the micro perspective.In order to answer the media in the social changes of change and how to affect today's society.In the introduction part,this paper will present the academic comments on McLuhan in chronological order.After that,this paper will introduce the vagueness to the formation of communication before and after the interdisciplinary development of psychology,biology,literary writing and other disciplines briefly,and then discuss the combination of McLuhan's media view and the theories of Karl Marx,Charles Darwin and Harold Innis.Subsequently,We abandoned the traditional “three theories on media":"The medium is the Message","the extensions of man" and "Media hot and cold",then replaced them with “six theories”: "global village theory","pan-media theory","information theory","electronic media theory","western culture limitation theory"and"civilization evolution theory".It is supplemented by the inherited or critical views of Neil bozeman,Paul levinson,Joshua merowitz and others.In the last part,we will carry on the inquiry and the exchange with each McLuhan's judgment.Therefore,we can really think about and summarize the development of media in the electronic information society.Then,we shall analyze the alienation process of media on society,culture,people's thinking and action.As the same time,clarify the development history of media under various factors such as technology,culture and society.Finally,Drawn a rational judgment from it,in order to obtain a rational argument,so as to take its essence,discard its dross,and benefit the media development view of today's information society.
