The Discourse Of Male Righteousness In Public Discussion

In the CCTV " Nancy boy " incident,discourse actors have initiated a heated public discussion on the male identity by changing the order of the discourse and redistributing the discourse power.This study conducted a discourse analysis of 511 reports on the " Nancy boy " of the news media and the we-media,and explored the discourse mode,discourse power and discourse influence of the critic and the inclusive,and in-depth thinking on the public discussion of the " Nancy boy " public opinion.This discourse explores the discourse patterns of critics and inclusive people by using discourse meaning,discourse identity and discourse strategy as analytical dimensions.Critics construct the discourse identity of patriots,educational guides,and rational rethinkers,and make their discourses "national significance" through binary oppositional narratives,critical conquest rhetoric,and intertextuality rules of presuppositional contexts.",educational significance" and "social significance." The inclusive constructs the discourse identity that advocates multiple aesthetics,pursues freedom and equality,and assumes social responsibility.Through storytelling,equal invitational rhetoric and directly quoted intertextuality rules,the discourse is important in terms of gender,culture and reality.significance.By studying the discourse power and empowerment strategies of the critics and inclusives,it is found that there are fluid power relations in the discourse expression and they have certain complexity and difference.The complexity is as follows: the critics and inclusives have complex discourse status,with official media,social elites,and ordinary people.Critics and inclusives have complex empowerment strategies,using military defense,historical and cultural knowledge,unique high-frequency words and common vocabulary,and picture symbols.The discourse power difference between the critics and the inclusive is mainly reflected in the three aspects of the social status,credibility and closeness of the discourse subject.In order to explore the discourse influence of discourse actors in public discussion,this study analyzes the influencing factors of the influence of critics and inclusive discourse.Finding factors such as status,speech quality,and interactive participation can increase the influence of discourse.By comparing and analyzing the influence of news media and self-media discourse,it is found that news media tends to form discourse influence with objective rationality,and media influence tends to produce discourse influence with irrational expression.The " Nancy boy " paradox has the dual characteristics of "rational negotiation" and "discourse game".Critics and inclusives have not reached an agreement through "rational negotiation"."Rational negotiation" mainly represents the cycle of "game-negotiation-regame",and "discourse game" is expressed as "multiple confrontation and competition" from all sides.
