In recent years,the development of network game industry has attract a great attention.At the new competitive situation,the performance level of enterprise employees has gradually become a key factor influencing the enterprise's economic benefit and long-term development,and the performance assessment of software developers should keep pace with the times.In this paper,W game company was selected as the case study object and the research was conducted by using the literature research method,questionnaire survey and data analysis method.Firstly,the paper expounds the current development of network games,the significance,purpose and innovation points of this study and the basic path of the study is determined.Secondly,based on the performance evaluation related concepts and theoretical knowledge,this paper analyzes the current situation of performance appraisal research at home and abroad and introduces several commonly used methods of performance appraisal.Thirdly,this paper adopt a survey by questionnaire method on performance appraisal status of W company software developers,and analyze the data deeply,including factor analysis and correlation analysisand variance analysis,explicitly points out that the existing problems and the reasons of development team appraisal system.Finally,this paper specificallyanalyzes the work of software developers in the game industry and the characteristics of the group,by analyzing the game development process and the position of software developers of w company,key indicators of performance evaluation were extracted.On the basis of performance appraisal design principles,indicators system was put forward,and the AHP analytic hierarchy process is used to scientifically evaluate the weight of the indexes at all levels.The performance appraisal period,communication feedback and the appraisal appeal are redesigned and this paper propose to apply the assessment results to the employee's salary adjustment,training development,and personnel configuration.The assessment system has been improved as a whole.The redesign of performance appraisal of software developers in W company not only promotes the performance management level within the company,but also serves as a reference for the performance appraisal of software developers in the network game industry.
