In recent years, with the rapid development of digital communication technology and ultra large scale integrated circuit(IC),the performance and integration of semiconductor chips are becoming higher and higher. The application of the digital communication technology and the high performance and high integration IC to the wireless remote control technology makes the development of the wireless remote control ic.A variety of remote control codec chip into a large number of production, and widely used in civil and military fields in a variety of remote control equipment and remote data transmission, the product has a good market prospect. This thesis describes a low-power,anti-interference ability, for wireless remote control codec chip design. The chip is mainly used in remote control keys, home automation, home security systems and other devices requiring close communication. The codec chip has 20 pins,E/D control foot by welding and low level to control chip encoding and decoding function, using NEC encoding, transmitting code frame has the advantages of simple structure, including a 8 bit address code,4 bit code and data synchronization code.In this thesis, the codec chip is designed w ith digital circuit, and contains a small number of analog circuits. The whole design is divided into two parts: front end and back end design.According to the function of the chip and the requirements of the electrical parameters, the front end design is completed in this thesis. The front end design adopts the top-down design method.First,in the Quartus ? environment of the on chip function module, behavior description, functional simulation, integrated circuit, using Modelsim for timing simulation,a nd finally through the FPGA hardware verification, proved the feasibility of the front-end circuit design.
