Culture is a country and nation's soul.Without full confidence in our culture,without a rich and prosperous culture,the Chinese nation will not be able to rejuvenate itself.Strengthening the construction of the public cultural service system is the important way to meet the people's growing demand for culture and ensure the people's enjoyment of basic spiritual and cultural products.As public cultural institution,museum shows the changes of history and culture and the achievements of human civilization development.It takes a very important position in fostering citizen's cultural literacy and realizing the basic cultural rights and interests of the people.Museum should participate in the construction of public cultural service system and exert the function of serving the public and society.Museum public cultural service has developed rapidly in recent years.However,there are still gaps and deficiencies in the supply and efficiency of public cultural services in grass-roots museums.Guided by the theory of public goods and the theory of new public service,this paper starts from the perspective of public cultural service,choose some grass-roots museums in Inner Mongolia as cases for investigation and analysis,study the problems in public cultural service concept,supply,talents,publicity etc.On the basis of successful experience of domestic museums public cultural service,from the perspectives of changing service concept,realizing the connection between supply and demand,increasing publicity,strengthening team construction and promoting resource integration,this paper puts forward reasonable suggestions on how to improve the level of public cultural service for grass-roots museums in Inner Mongolia.
