The Desigh Of Foreign Affairs Management System Based On Workflow

With the deepening concept of “Internet +”,higher institutions in China are all taking great efforts in information technology development so as to promote the construction of smart campus.The foreign affairs management in higher institutions involves different kinds of business concerning the internationalization of the school.The development of the relative system provides facilities and services which are more reliable and timely for the teachers and students.The system also assists the related administrative departments of foreign affairs in realizing a scientific and informational management,further providing the data support for the international strategy of the institutions.The goal of this thesis is to design a set of system supporting self-defined workflow for the management of foreign affairs in higher institutions,implementation of each module's restructuring and process management concerning foreign affairs management,offering solutions for the interaction problems within human resource system,undergraduate educational system,graduate educational system and other educational administration systems.From the implementation view,through the design of merging forms from different systems together,and integration of workflow process,we try to realize the demand including data reading and writing as well as condition judgement in the process of workflow execution.We could achieve condition judgement in approving forms and support the concept of workflow design through the research of workflow version control,data extraction mechanism of event-driven,and form validation based on regular expression and validation at application level.The thesis firstly introduces the background and significance of developing the foreign affairs management system in higher institutions,then analyzes the functional and non-functional demand of the system,offering the design for the system which corresponds to demand of foreign affairs management based on the workflow platform infoplus,including business reengineering,workflow management,database design and form design.Finally,the thesis testifies the feasibility of three corn modules of the system and discusses the scheme of remaining functions implementation.The three corn modules of the system are exiting administration for going abroad,intelligence project and visa management for entrying China.Through testifying the foreign affairs management system which is designed on the basis of workflow,the system could achieve the functions on business reengineering and process control,beneficial to realize office automation,promote management level and service efficiency.It offers both strong theoretical values and application prospects for future development of higher institutions.
