Design And Implementation On Management Platform Of Foreign Affairs Based On SaaS Model

With the introduction of the concept of cloud computing, SaaS (Software as aService) comes out as a new software application model in21century. The feature ofSaaS model is that SaaS service provider deploys the software on its server andmanages the software, and users rent SaaS service provider’s software on the internet.SaaS model can overcome the defects of long cycle, high cost and complicatedmaintenance of the traditional software model. Using SaaS model can improve theapplicability of software and it owns a practical value to the informatization of SMEs.In this paper, based on the demand of foreign affairs of CSIC and the designrequirements of SaaS model, the management platform of foreign affairs is designedand implemented. First of all, this paper makes a demand analysis for the workflow offoreign affairs of CSIC, determines the final solution of data architecture and proposesthe architecture and network structure of the management platform of foreign affairswith the theories of design patterns and SOA. Furthermore, according to the third SaaSmaturity model, this paper analyzes and designs the configurable, scalable and securesolutions. The next, this paper designs the business logic and database of themanagement platform of foreign affairs. Finally, the management platform of foreignaffairs is implemented based on SSH and XFire framework, and then, it is tested. Thetest result shows that the management platform of foreign affairs meets the designrequirements of SaaS model.
