Study On Project Risk Management For Capacity Expansion Project Of TC Company

In 2012,the China government announced that they will set up a more than 100 billion CNY fund to invest semiconductor industry.It is a signal means the semiconductor industry have raise to the nation development strategies.With the development of the information technology,more and more semi chips have come into people's daily life.In some filed,these chips will thread the nation's information safety.After the fund build up,many semiconductor provider have begun to expand their capacity.The author have joined and led some parts of the project for semiconductor manufactory capacity expansion in TC Company.Before this project,the TC Company have try many times to expansion the capacity,but failed finally.In this project,they use the risk management to make the project success.After this project,the company begin to earn the profit.The project risk management means the organization plan,identify,evaluate,and monitor the risk of the project.In this paper,we use the AHP to evaluate the risk factors,and identify the top three high risk factors are 1.the rick of process technology unclear;2.the risk of organization;3.the risk of the status not easy to measure.The solution of each risks management are 1.set up a project selection rule;2.build up new organization in this project;3.Added feedback point in the process.After these optimization,the TC Company got the project success.
