In recent years,with the popularity of mobile phones,ipads and other mobile devices as well as 3G and 4G networks,mobile reading has gradually become a new way of reading,The reading carrier has also changed from paper books to portable reading apps.In 2009,the earliest reading apps appeared in China,such as iReader,which is beneficial for readers to open the book,and iReader.In just 9 years,a large number of reading apps such as WeChat reading,shuqi novels and douban reading have appeared in the market.Mobile reading has become the development direction of reading in the future.According to the data of the think tank analysys,at present,the users of reading apps have tended to be saturated,and the major reading apps have also transitioned from attracting users at the initial stage to preempting users.Therefore,the only way to occupy a place in the future reading APP market and stand out in the existing industry structure is to improve user stickiness and retain users.In order to attract users' attention,it is necessary to meet users' needs to the greatest extent.Therefore,understanding users' needs is of great significance for reading apps.From the perspective of user demand,this paper studies users who read WeChat books based on the use and satisfaction theory of communication,the theory of audience motivation of psychology,literature research method,user interview method,questionnaire survey method and observation method.Choose the cause of the micro letter read basically has two,one is micro letter read once launched quickly occupied the market in 2015,the second is the micro letter read started combining reading and social,redefined the reading way of the Internet era,the development of it has strong representative,therefore to study also compares it to a representative.This article first to the reading class APP market development present situation,and user demand generalizes the related concepts,and then adopt the method of user interviews and questionnaires to micro letter read user research,analyzed the characteristics of the user through the research of feedback data,habits,and various functions use satisfaction,summarizes the user has satisfied the demand of and the demand is not satisfied with.Finally,some Suggestions are put forward for the whole reading APP industry according to user needs.It is hoped that the research and analysis in this paper can provide certain reference significance for the development of future reading apps.
