Research On Civil Broadband Access Solution Based On GPON Technology

With the further popularization of the Internet and the development of the Internet of things,it is an important issue for operators to provide broadband access which can accommodate more users."Government work report" pointed out that must speed up the progress of the network integration,the early completion of optical network city.On the basic FTTH network has gradually become a mainstream trend,because the PON technology has the advantages of high capacity,do not need additional room,maintenance and other advantages,by the communication industry's favor,is the preferred solution at this stage,has been widely used in GPON,and by the major operators and users because of superior its outstanding performance.First of all,this paper analyzes the broadband access problem in residential area from the GPON technology.Firstly,the basic development history of this technology is reviewed,and compared with other technologies such as EPON.By contrast,the application of GPON technology,the system bandwidth,higher downlink rate allocation is more reasonable,the system service level is higher,which can improve the effective utilization rate of broadband,solve the high demand for broadband bandwidth with different business problems generated by high quality,to provide transmission services for users,is at present the best prospects for the development of PON technology,has become the first choice of civilian broadband construction.Secondly,combined with the overall route service access ability speed and dynamic demands of construction,mainly studies the design problem of home broadband network based on GPON technology,including the backbone grid of the basic ideas and splitter configuration,ODN backbone fiber optic cable model construction,ONU construction principle,at the same time on the principle of play in the role of network construction.Finally,based on the author's residential area as the object of research,to design the network construction plan,select the appropriate hardware,detect the network quality of service,ensure from the speed test target.The determined in the process of the principle has a positive guiding value for civil construction of broadband networks,to reasonably reduce the construction investment,and to accumulate experience for the popularization and promotion of the wired wide high broadband,provide reference.
