Notebook Project Time Management Study Based On Resource Constraint Process Mitigation

Notebooks of different brands are with similar functions,nearly same configurations,with this kind of intense competition,the product announcement timeline becomes very critical to a product's market share and product sales.While the product announcement timeline is depending on whether the product DOE(Design of experiments)can finish on time with positive results which makes the DOE timeline management extremely critical and shall be the key to a project.Project's time management included develop schedule and control schedule.In this thesis,resource constraint related to develop schedule of DOE test,and DOE test process related control schedule.To manage the progress of the DOE test,the problem of resource constraints and test processes should be solved first.To elaborate,human resource,equipment,notebook readiness and the other projects' schedule were the key progress affecting factors to the DOE and project schedule.To resolve the constraint resource,this thesis introduced the mothed of proposed prioritize the parallel running projects,increase resource,plan for notebook source pre-allocate.Duplicate process,notebook been processed back and forth from the same point and unnecessary processes were the key process factors that affected project schedule.To resolve unreasonable test process,introduced the mothed of proposed micro-managed process,made adjustments to the DOE plan,prioritized test plan,deducted unnecessary process.Then summary the solution resource constraints and test processes,workout the schedule management plan of project B.To execute the schedule management plan of project B,took advantages of using shopfloor system to Monitor and adjust the execution process of project schedule,make project B delivered on time.The project's time management solution of resource constraints and test processes,applied to the DOE test progress management,based on existing case study,procured preferable effect.
