For a long time, the issue of human rights has been a tool used by the United States and other western countries to accuse China, and foreign media have also published a lot of articles on the issue. In the context of "human rights"-dominated discourse in the West,China's human rights path has been described as "no achievement".However, the fact is that the Chinese media, represented by People's Daily, have begun to discuss human rights-related issues since the founding of the people's Republic of China, and the Chinese media have never stopped on the road to the construction of China's human rights theory. This article attempts to see more clearly how the Chinese media shape Chinese human rights discourse in different periods, how this gesture relates to the social environment and historical reality at that time,in order to not be passive and more efficient in the contest for the right of speech,And what suggestions can be made.Exploring the actions of the Chinese media in this respect will present the different attempts made by the media with the evolution of the times, which often reflect the changes of the structural factors of the whole society. It clearly reflects the driving effect and historical attribution of the right of speech behind it.At the practical level,it is also helpful for the domestic media to grasp the feasibility and law of the articles on human rights issues,so as to promote their own advantages in the struggle for discourse power. This article uses People's Daily from the founding of the people's Republic of China to 2018 all relevant commentary nature articles as the sample to make a specific analysis. In the research method, the combination of content analysis and text analysis is adopted. In order to analyze the content of all articles based on quantitative statistics, this paper constructs five categories respectively: the source of the article, the object of comment, the subject of comment, the type of nature, the emotional tone, and so on.Then on the basis of the text analysis of all the samples, the discourse strategies of Chinese media are obtained. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for the deficiency of the media. The research finds that the discourse expression strategy of domestic media on the issue of human rights, mainly in the historical construction of human rights concepts in China, has come out of a path from "passive response" to "active expression";More and more attention is being paid to China's participation in global human rights governance;it is closely linked to ideology;and it strengthens the academic and pluralistic nature of human rights issues. The main problems and suggestions of this paper are as follows: the potential of the number of relevant articles has not been fully explored, and the volume of publications should be increased, especially the category of comments; In the content, the academic and theoretical content is too much,it is suggested to add more common content related to the actual life of the people; In terms of the source of the article, the articles of the staff occupy a key proportion for a long time, which is not conducive to the output of multiple views and perspectives. It is suggested to increase the source of the article and create a regular contribution for some types of sources.
