NB-IoT Network Planning Research

Nowadays,the demand for intelligentization and industrial transformation and upgrading in various industries is becoming more and more urgent.Based on this background,NB-IoT was born.It is a cellular network-based communication technology with wide-area coverage,massive access,low power consumption,and low cost.With the continuous penetration of NB-IoT into the industry and the continuous improvement of the ecosystem,its development will impact on all levels of today's society.All three major operators have made the Internet of Things as the development focus and made relevant plans.This paper focuses on the operator's network planning scheme and method to guide the planning,design and construction of the NB-IoT network.This paper first introduces the background,technology development,technical characteristics and basic structure of NB-IoT technology,and then introduces the development of NB-IoT technology and the status quo of carrier construction and application.The planning method of NB-IoT network is mainly studied.The whole planning system,planning points and planning ideas,design indicators and frequency band planning are analyzed and explained in detail.The whole planning process is decomposed and the composition,methods and key elements of each stage are introduced step by step.Taking the planning scheme of Jiangsu Mobile NB-IoT Phase I Project as an example,the current situation and problems of the existing network are analyzed.Use the business development prediction model to predict the subsequent business and network development.Based on the current situation,business forecast and network demand,the coverage and capacity planning scheme of the entire network is prepared.This paper summarizes the planning method of NB-IoT network,and studies the scheme of operator NB-IoT network planning,which provides a certain guiding role for the subsequent NB-IoT network construction.
