Research On Application Of OTN And PTN Combined Network Of Pu'er Mobile Company

In the recent years,with the rapid popularization and development of Internet and 4G technology in our country,higher requirements are put forword on network security,transmission speed and stability of metropolitan area network.In addition,it is the ever-expanding IP service that has prompted experts and technicians in the communications field to increase their exploration efforts to develop higher-capacity MAN applications and more advanced equipment and application technologies to build flexible and complex network topologies.Stable network operation and rapid business opening can be realized by cooperating with the router equipment.The combined networking technology of Optical Transport Network(OTN)and Packet Transport Network(PTN),which suits for all kinds of network layers,is an effective way to solve this problem.OTN technology is used to handle large-capacity services with large particle capacity while PTN technology to refine customer service and management.There are multiple advantages on OTN technology and PTN technology on the basis of SDH technology and WDM technology.As the technical standard of the third-generation transmission network,OTN inherits the dual advantages of SDH and WDM,which is an excellent solution for carrying high-bandwidth services.PTN technology is a new generation of transmission technology for packet data services with packet switching as the core,which can completely replace SDH technology.Under the background of network engineering construction with customer as the demand of operators,it is the effective combination of OTN and PTN that has greatly improved the utilization and transmission capacity of optical cable resources,which is suitable for the requirements of network transmission for full-service operation.It not only has the function of intelligent and IP communication network but also provides high bandwidth,high stability and high transmission distance to promote the development of communication network.This paper points out the advantages and characteristics of OTN and PTN combined network by taking OTN technology and PTN technology in MAN of China Mobile Pu'er as the research object.Based on the detailed analysis of network characteristics and business development in China Mobile Pu'er,a networking program with regional characteristics is adopted,while requirements of OTN technology and PTN technology,the goal of PTN and OTN combined network and the network evolution scheme are further discussed at the end of the paper.
