Research And Practice On Key Issues Of VoLTE Network Optimization Under Hybrid Networking

After more than four years of rapid development,the LTE network is in the mid-term phase,and and the LTE networks of some advanced provinces and cities have been basically perfect.However,the VoLTE of domestic communication operators is inconsistent progress,and the whole is still in the promotion phase.Currently,China Mobile has initially commercialized VoLTE and China Unicom and China Telecom have not fully commercialized VoLTE.With the rapid development of LTE services,spectrum resources are increasingly close.At the same time,2G network maintenance costs are increasing.In 2018,domestic communication operators began to consider re-cultivating 2G high-quality low-band spectrum resources to LTE,China Mobile has carried out nationwide GSM network renovation project.It can be foreseen that in the near future,the original 2G/3G network will be retired,and the overall promotion of VoLTE is the trend of the future.At present,the migration of data services to 4G networks has been basically completed,but the migration of voice services to 4G networks has just begun.In the future,operators will face the current situation of 2G/3G/4G network hybrid networking and simultaneous operation.Then,during the hybrid networking,there is no unified idea for how to locate and operate the 2G/3G network invested by the previous operators,and how to optimize the original 2G/3G network.This paper will take the user's voice perception as an entry point,make a comprehensive analysis of LTE network architecture and LTE basic process,then discussed the basic principle system architecture and business process of VoLTE.At the same time,take China Mobile as an example to judge the current status of operators' wireless network operation,and discuss the current network optimization strategy under 2G/3G/4G hybrid networking.This paper focuses on the implementation techniques and optimization strategies of inter-system interoperability.Combined with practical experience,several types of problems that affect VoLTE quality in the VoLTE optimization process of a certain city mobile: positioning,dropped calls,and delay classes are used to locate the problem analysis steps,provide optimization ideas,and organize some network optimizations to provide reference for subsequent network optimization.
