In recent years,with the rapid development of mobile communication services,the fourth generation mobile communication,which is characterized by high speed,low latency,full IP and other mobile streaming media technologies,has achieved large-scale commercial usage.The 4G LTE network has become the main carrier network for operators to provide high-speed data services to customers.However,in the initial deployment of 4G network,mobile voice service is still carried on 2G/3G network.The operators who have built the 4G network generally adopt SVLTE(Simultaneous Voice and LTE,LTE and GSM synchronization support)or CSFB(Circuit Switched Fallback,Circuit Domain Fallback)technology as a transition scheme.In these two schemes,the voice services are essentially still carried by the circuit domain,without any improvement in voice quality,and unable to take the advantage of IP technology to provide more flexible and diverse communication experience.The core of the Vo LTE voice solution uses IMS as the service control layer system and EPC(Evolved Packet Core)as the bearer layer,which realizes the separation of session control and bearer,and the separation of service provision and session control.Some key technologies such as Qo S level identification using wireless bearer,AMR-WB speech coding,SIP Session Control Protocol,Robust header compression control,Semi-Persistent Scheduling and so on to ensure Vo LTE service quality.Users can experience lower access delay,higher quality and more natural voice and video services.On the other hand,Voice over LTE(Vo LTE)as an end-to-end voice solution under full IP conditions,has realized the transition of voice services from traditional circuit domain to data domain,which makes the data and voice services integrated under the same network.Vo LTE technology can also improve the efficiency of spectrum utilization and effectively reduces the cost of network operation.However,the topology of Vo LTE network is very complicated,which involves many network elements and long end-to-end process.How to make a large number of network optimizations is the core of service quality improvement and network operation and maintenance for operators.Based on the initial commercial maintenance and optimization experiences of Xianyang Mobile Vo LTE network,several key performance criteria,which affects voice quality from the wireless side,are foucusd in this paper and some detailed analysis and optimizations are also made for these criterias.Firstly,the Vo LTE network architecture,network element functions,basic principles and key technologies are introduced in detail,and the key signaling processes such as IMS registration,call process and e SRVCC handover process are also analyzed in detail.Then,aiming at the problem of voice quality optimization,according to the criterias acquired by the signaling platform,the criteria affecting the voice quality of Vo LTE are analyzed,and the problem location and optimization methods are discussed in detail.Finally,with typical problem descriptions and a large number of actual cases,several solutions for Vo LTE network optimization,as well as Vo LTE initial commercial wireless voice quality optimization ideas,are presented in this paper to improve the efficiency of network optimization.
