Our country communication products and electronic product manufacturing industry have been in the scale expansion andrapid growth for many years.Convergence products, fierce competition, lower and lower profit, and the escalating price war, have become the bottleneck of enterprise to continue the development. In addition to environment, the gap of enterprise management level between our country and developedcountry is becoming bigger. In Europe态America and Japan, enterprises improve units in "millisecond",and the way of the production has transformed from mass production to just-in-time and lean production. While many of our enterprise still make improvements on units with "hour".The backward in management is obvious. As is known to all, whether assembly line isbalancedis vital importance in the production and operation management, directly related to the competitiveness of the products in the market and the growth of the enterprise.This paper takes G company as an example anddo research on its mobile phone assembly line balance problem.Firstly,this paper made summary and analysis on lean production and assembly line balance problem, such as the theory, method, related mathematical model and the present study status,and study assembly line balance problem in the guidance of lean production. Scecondly, this paper tookthe mobile phone assembly line of G company as an example, applied IE optimization technology of lean production to improve assembly line, in order to improve the efficiency of the assembly line. And then optimize the cycle timeof the mobile phone assembly line of company G by using software (Lingo) based on two mathematical model of assembly line balance problem. Finally, this paper used the evaluation parametersof the assembly line balance such as production efficiency, cycle time, rate of delay, the efficiency of balance and workstation smoothness to evaluate the results.Research shows that:through the lean improvement and simulation optimization of assembly line by using software (lingo) based on two kinds of mathematical model, the balance of assembly line has been improved.Then we can see that using mathematical programming method to solve the assembly line balance problems is very convenient.In the pratical production operation,changing the established mathematical optimization model slightly according to the reality and updatethe information,you can get the answer. Therefore, this paper has certain theoretical and practical value.
