Study On Reports Of Vulnerable Groups' Rights-protection On "China Youth Daily"

The number and the influence sphere of rights defending events of vulnerable groups are one of the important criteria for testing whether society is harmonious or not.News media is the " public weapon" which transmits social reality,monitors the social environment and guides public opinion,accumulates the experience and lessons when reporting the rights of vulnerable groups.Because of this,news media has naturally become the concern of scholars and journalists.Through the classified statistical analysis of the rights reports concerning the vulnerable groups reported by China Youth Daily from January 2014 to May 2018,it is found that the number of reports on the rights of vulnerable groups has increased year by year and the distribution cycle is very clear.In the newspaper,there are lots of reports about the vulnerable group rights defend and the reports relatively focus on one piece of paper with middle and long articles;About the content selected,the subject mainly focus on wage protection and personal injury rights based on the status and problems of defenders.The sources of reports tend to come from the right defending people;The text is mainly based on incident reports,supplemented by comments and reports,but few pictures,most of which used in the report are the defending people and their surrounding environment.However,there are also some problems in the rights report of the vulnerable groups of China Youth Daily,such as the construction of "the other",the tragic treatment of the rights defense process,and the lack of feasible guidelines for safeguarding rights.In order to solve these problems,China Youth Daily also needs to pay attention to the bottom ofthe society in the post-news practice,reflect their true demands in the report,maintain objective and fair attitude,avoid deliberately constructing conflicts in the report,and increase the number of typical reports to guide the vulnerable groups carrying reasonable rights protection.Only by doing this can promote the further development of the rights report of the vulnerable groups of China Youth Daily.
