Research On The Development Of Local Characteristic Resources Of National Libraries

Local characteristics of the resources are the resources with regional characteristics and an important part of national information resource system.The national area libraries attach importance to the development of local characteristic resources and the formation of local characteristic resource system.It is not only favorable for that development of local libraries,but also more conducive to the succession and protection of the fine regional culture in the ethnic region,and the development of local national economy.It is a characteristic resource with strong development and high utilization value.As the cultural information center of ethnic regions of China,the research on the development of local characteristic resources in national libraries is beneficial to the joint construction and sharing of national characteristic cultural resources and the protection and integration of cultural resources in national areas.This article selects the xinjiang region,yunnan region,wuling mountain area,guangxi region of the representative library in national regions,investigation and analysis of the current situation of the development of library local characteristic resources in national areas in China,puts forward the main problems,and tries to explore a road to development of library local characteristic resources in national areas.This paper uses the literature analysis,internet survey,data analysis,analysis of typical cases,on the basis of related concepts,points out that the significance of library developing local characteristic resources in national regions,mainly including for benefiting enriching library collections,inheriting and protecting excellent regional cultures in ethnic areas,and serving the development of local economy and culture in ethnic areas.And further elaborated the national minority area library local characteristic resources development urgency,it mainly includes the need to promote the rational development of local characteristic resources,the need to promote co-construction and sharing,and the need to promote the protection and integration of local cultural resources.Secondly,the development topics,development forms,development of the main participants as the entry point,and this paper investigates the current situation of the development of local characteristic resources in the libraries of the four ethnic regions by using a variety of survey methods.The achievement is concluded that the local characteristic resources pool is taking shape,the development of local characteristic resources is diversified,the regional characteristics of resources are distinct,the cooperation and sharing mechanism is beginning to take shape,and the development level of local characteristic resources has been continuously improved.Then it points out that there are some problems in the development of local characteristic resources in national libraries,such as developed resources are not enough,low quality of developed resources,serious phenomenon of repeated development and resource sharing needs to be strengthened.At the same time,the causes of the problems are mainly due to the lack of overall planning,lack of capital sources,weak sense of cooperation and sharing,and lack of continuous innovation.Finally,in order to accelerate the development of local characteristic resources in national libraries,this paper puts forward that national libraries should follow the principles of practicability,local characteristic and protection.And should take the following measures: combineing with local actual overall planning development,multi-channel broadening the sources of funds of the local characteristic resources development,accelerating the development of application of new technology and uniform standard,multi-channel cooperation development of local characteristics,under on domestic policy and project support intensify development,learning from the advanced experience at home and abroad innovative development form,etc.
