Exploring The Construction Of Yunnan Minority Archives Resources

Minority archival resources are the best characteristics and advantages of archival resources of Yunnan province. With the purpose of developing green economy and ethnic culture of Yunnan province to construct Yunnan a center of cooperation with southeast Asian countries, archival departments on all level in Yunnan Province should do their best to preserve and rescue archival resources of ethnic groups, actively explore the construction of minority archival resources, and construct multi-ethnic frontier resources scientifically for the promotion of constructing Colorful Yunnan and the development of Yunnan’s economy. Therefore, the history of ethnic groups in Yunnan will be preserved and inherited, archival resources of ethnic groups in Yunnan will be branded and the prosperity of ethnic culture will be promoted. The development of archival resources of ethnic groups in Yunnan is not only for the needs of cross-sectoral development, but also for the development of promoting regional economy.On the basis of concluding the experiences of minority archival resources in archives in Yunnan, the paper will focus on the necessity and urgency of constructing the archival resources system in Yunnan. In the paper the relevant strategic objectives, principles and methods of minority archival resources in Yunnan Province will be proposed, according to the actual situation of the archives. The successful experiences and shortcomings in construction of the minority archival resources will also be analyzed in the paper. Some suggestions will be proposed to solve these problems that the dispersion of resources, lack of collection, unitary classification, structural imbalance, the outdated service model and other issues.
