The program design environment of this paper is ABB 800 xA PLC control system.A large number of functional blocks with high integration are called in the programming process,which greatly improves the work efficiency,but there are no mature functional instructions.The control system also has other advantages,such as high integration,including high speed input and output module and calculation module,the state of the controller can be directly presented through the screen to achieve the purpose of visual display,the internal problems can be diagnosed in time and displayed on the alarm screen,and the situation can be reversely recovered by tracking all operation items.Based on the process design manual and combined with the understanding of ABB800 xA control system,this paper carried out the design for the main functional block of automatic control of bar production line: speed cascade,flying shear cutting,double-measure cold bed,cut with cold shear,finished product collection and bundling,etc.The design results have been online operation,achieving the aim of stable production,low failure rate,high production efficiency,high output per hour and so on,and realizing the expected goal.IN this paper,the operating principle and mathematical model of speed cascade,flying shear cutting,double-measure cold bed,cut with cold shear,finished product collection and bundling were first introduced,and then puts forward the specific implementation method,and through a large number of key procedures to show the implementation ideas.
