The flying shear plays an irreplaceable role in modern industrial. The flyingshear cuts the objects of moving and needs to meet the shearing precision. Also, itneeds to ensure the synchronous speed between the cutting shear and the cut object.With the development of modern technology, the control technology makes greatprogress. The motion controller LMC058of Schneider makes the flying shear morestable, more accurate and easier.The intelligent algorithm is applied more and moreextensively in the industrial field because of its development, especially the BP neuralnetwork. Combined with PID, it has better effect on the electric machine control offlying shear.This paper firstly designs the hardware platform of flying shear motion controlsystem according to analysis of flying shear movement. Select the motion controllerLMC058、servo controller LXM32A、and the servo motor BMH0701、the touchscreen XBGT2200of Schneider and PC as the system control equipment,at the sametime design the flying shear system model. And it designs the control chart and powerdistribution figure of flying shear control system.Then it designs the software of the flying shear motion control system. Itanalyses the motion trail of flying shear and proposes the algorithm of flying shearmotion equations to achieve the control. It deduces the algorithm and studies thesoftware flow chart of the algorithm. The software Somachine has many advantages,such as no need to define the variables, direct write and so on. It designs theinterface of touch screen. The touch screen makes the operation of flying shear easyand direct.It gives the debug of the hardware and software for the system and analyses the problem during debugging.Then it solves problem. The control of flying shearthrough the hardware platform comes true, and it gains satisfied effect in the aspect ofcontrol precision. The cutting speed and cutting length can depend on ourselves, andthe error of the cutting length can be under1mm.But when servo motor meets a large disturbance during the process, it causes alarge relative error. For this situation, it uses the BP neural network PID instead ofPID. It introduces the mathematical model of servo motor BMH0701and gets thetransfer function under the vector control id=0and the transfer function under currentcontrol, speed control and position control of the servo control system. It introducesthe BP neural network PID and the algorithm of it. It uses the Matlab to compare theconsequences and designs the GUI for the BP neural network PID. The performanceof the adjusting the system when meet the disturbance is compared. The BP neuralnetwork PID has better performance. It can make the system return the original statemore quickly.Finally, it analyzes and summaries the work has done, and does a simple analysisof the problem exists, describes future research direction.
