In recent years,China's LED industry has developed rapidly due to the support of national policies and the growing market demand.But according to the research of some authoritative organizations,it is very important for the development of the LED industry whether it is the material for the production of LED chips or the equipment for the production and processing.Due to the rapid growth of market demand,the updating of production and processing equipment and full automation production can not keep up in time.Many chip production is in manual or semi-automatic state.At present,most of the production equipment of LED chips in our country has low automation,low production efficiency and heavy dependence on imports.Wax on the chip is an indispensable process in many production processes of LED chips,because qualified substrates are the basis of epitaxial wafers and the prerequisite for further production and processing.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important to research and develop the fully automatic waxing machine made in China.According to the market demand and the technological requirements of waxing on LED chips,an efficient automatic waxing machine is designed,which realizes the automation of the whole waxing process,and the thickness and uniformity of wax layer after waxing can meet the requirements of the production process.According to the technological requirements,the wax effect and wax efficiency of the equipment are defined,and the design goal and design scheme of the equipment are finally determined.The effect of waxing must reach that there are wax layers at any place at the bottom of the substrate,and the wax layers are uniform.The thickness of the wax layers is between 2 and 5 microns.The waxing efficiency must reach the whole waxing process time of about 5 minutes.According to the design objective,the detailed design scheme is determined,and then the parametric selection and overall structure design of waxing equipment are carried out.It mainly includes the design of rotary mechanism,lifting and moving mechanism,the design of porcelain plate handling mechanism,the design of preheating and cooling pan assembly,and the design of cooling and pressing mechanism.It realizes the automatic process of waxing machine,improves the quality and efficiency of waxing machine,and greatly reduces the cost of personnel and labor intensity.The finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench is used to analyze the key parts of the wax machine,such as rotary device,pre-pressing device and cold-pressing device.The analysis results show that the designed structure has sufficient strength and reasonable structure,and will not produce fracture,resonance and influence wax effect.The designed mechanism meets the design requirements and has been verified in actual production.The control system of waxing machine is designed to realize the automation and visualization of the whole waxing process,and the waxing quality and waxing efficiency of the equipment after debugging are verified experimentally.The waxing results show that the qualified rate of wax layer thickness and uniformity is above 95%,and the waxing time is reduced,and the efficiency and automation degree are greatly improved.
