Research On Teaching Support Service Of University Library In O2O Mode

The success of the 020 mode on the commercial areas has attracted much attention.It is an opportunity for the library development to introduce the 020 mode to the library service.The 020 mode makes the library service no more limited in the constructions and closes the gap between the users and library.At the meanwhile,the requirements of the teachers and students on the teaching and studying is expanding,which requests the library to integrate the online service and offline service and provide personalized and convenient teaching support service.The article investigated the needs of teachers and students for library teaching support services through questionnaire survey,and analyzed the objectives and system structure of university library teaching support services based on 020 model.In addition,taking the libraries in the United States,and the United Kingdom for example,the paper analyzes the status and characteristic projects of teaching support services under 020 models in foreign university libraries.Through insisting on the concept of "user-centered",the libraries should strength the policy support,construct a perfect management mechanism,improve the teaching support service ability of the subject librarians,and pay attention to the integration of online and offline teaching support services.Secondly,the library websites of the top ten universities in China was investigated.It found that there were some problems on the the Chinese university libraries under 020 model,such as underdeveloped physical space construction,lack of an effective management platform for online resources,inadequate management mechanism and talent construction,and poor integration of online and offline services.Finally,some suggesting are proposed based on the advanced experience of foreign university libraries on the problems about the teaching support service of the Chinese university libraries under 020 model.It points out that the university library should create a scientific and rational teaching support physical space,construct a fully functional teaching support virtual space.And the construction of the teaching support service organization layer should also be optimized,and developing many projects 020 model of instructional support services and other measures needs more attention as well.
