Research On The Service Mode Of “Double First-class” University Library Under The Background Of COVID-19 Epidemic

The sudden outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia has brought new challenges to the service of university libraries,and their service model has undergone great changes.This research aims to investigate the service status of 42 "Double First-Class" universities during the epidemic period,build a service model of college library under the background of the new crown epidemic,enrich the theory of service mode of college library,and propose corresponding countermeasures.This thesis adopts literature survey method,network survey method and questionnaire survey method.Based on scenario theory,information ecology theory,crisis life cycle theory and other theories,this paper summarizes five basic elements of the service model of university libraries,namely service subject,service content,service environment,service resources and service methods.The service status of the "Double First-Class" University Libraries.The survey found that under the background of the epidemic,university library services mainly include weak awareness of epidemic crisis,less service innovation integrating new technologies,relatively insufficient online resources,and lack of online service experience.Therefore,based on the background of the new crown epidemic,this paper constructs the overall framework of the service model of the university library from the service subject,service content,service environment,service resources and service mode,and discusses the driving mechanism and operation mechanism of the university library service model.And put forward countermeasures and suggestions for university libraries under the background of the epidemic.This thesis only selects "double first-class" colleges and universities for research,which may not accurately represent the overall situation of Chinese university libraries during the epidemic.At the same time,the service model of university libraries under the background of the COVID-19 Epidemic proposed in the research needs further empirical research.
