Investigation And Research On Health Information Service Of Provincial Public Libraries

With the development of the economy and the improvement of living standards,the health information has been receiving more and more attention.Users can use health information to understand their health status,which is the information they need to make health-related decisions.Due to the vitality of health information,it is now being paid more and more attention.The "Healthy China 2030"Planning Outline issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on October 25,2016 pointed out that "the construction of a healthy China,adhering to the government's leadership,mobilizing the participation of the whole society,promoting a healthy and civilized lifestyle,reducing disease occurrence.To better meet the health needs of the people."Public libraries,as a public service organization for social education,have great advantages in both information resources and environmental space,which makes public libraries have health information services.Conditions,the public library has the responsibility and potential to participate in the "Healthy China 2030"work to improve the health of the whole people,to provide high-quality health information services to the public.The survey is intended to provide some reference and inspiration for the development of health information services in provincial public libraries in China,In this context,first of all,the author uses 37 provincial-level public libraries as survey objects in China,using online surveys,literature research,mail research,etc.,to publicly demand the health information services of libraries,and provincial public books.The museum conducted surveys and statistics on the development of health information service planning,health information resources construction,and health information service models.Secondly,the author conducted a detailed analysis of the health information services carried out by the three provincial-level public libraries of the Zhongshan Provincial Library,the Heilongjiang Provincial Library and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Library from a regional perspective,including the development of health information services.The overall situation and the characteristics of providing health information services.Thirdly,combined with the comprehensive survey results and the analysis of typical cases,the problems existing in the health information service of provincial public libraries in China are obtained,and the causes of these problems are analyzed systematically.Finally,the author puts forward corresponding ways to optimize health information services from different perspectives on the problems existing in library scervices.The main body of this paper is divided into eight parts,including:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the investigation background,the purpose and significance of the investigation,the research and development status at home and abroad,research ideas,innovation points and characteristics.The second chapter is the definition of related concepts.Through the literature research,the corresponding explanations are given to"health information"and"public library health inf'ormation service".The third chapter is the investigation of the status quo.Through the network survey,literature research,telephone,mail and other survey methods,the health information services carried out by 37 provincial public libraries in China are investigated.The survey includes the public to carry out health information services for public libraries.Demand,public library's overall planning for health information services,health inf'ormation resources(including traditional resources,digital resources,featured resources,etc.),health information service models(health infonnation traditional services,popular science lectures,health information)Web services and other content).The fourth chapter is a typical case analysis.The health information services carried out by three provincial-level public libraries of Guangdong Provincial Zhongshan Library,Heilongjiang Library and(Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Library were selected for comprehensive and in-depth investigation and their characteristics and shortcomings were summarized.The fifth chapter puts forward the existing problems.According to the third chapter,the investigation of th e overall situation of health information services carried out by provincial public libraries in China,and the fourth chapter and detailed investigation and analysis of typical cases,it is pointed out that domestic provincial public libraries are There are general problems in the process of health information service.At present,the problems existing in provincial public libraries in China mainly include:lack of special health resources,librarians are difficult to provide help,public awareness is low,new media platform services are imperfect,and health information Service activities are not rich.The sixth chapter analyzes the causes of the health information service problems of provincial libraries in China,including:insufficient attention to health information services,lack of specialized talents,insufficient promotion of health information services,lack of platform health information services and institutional cooperation.The seventh chapter is the optimization suggestion.Combined with the characteristics of the health information service carried out by public libraries in the case analysis and the inspiration of relevant research,the paper puts forward specific and reasonable optimization suggestions around the existing problems and causes,including:improving the service of the library.Pay attention to,set up a team of professional talents,increase the promotion of health information services,improve the platform health information service functions,and expand cooperation with various institutions and other five suggestions to provide reference for the sustainable development of public library health information services.The eighth chapter is the conclusion and the prospect of the future.The author summarizes the contents of this survey and research,and looks forward to the future development direction of this direction.
