| Based on interactive ritual chain theory proposed by Randall Collins,this thesis discusses the formation,evolution and dissemination of contemporary Chinese nationalist interactive ritual on Weibo social platform,with dual frameworks of identity symbol and emotional energy.With the content analysis and case analysis,this thesis focuses on the individual interaction of popular Weibo after the outbreak of the “THAAD” event.It observes the emotional expression and interaction behavior of Weibo users who have participated in the nationalism campaign online to have an in-depth description and analysis on those users and interpersonal relationships,and thus propose the emotional energy circle structure,emotional joint mode,and the interaction mode of power and status groups in the network nationalist interaction.In the content analysis process,the thesis studies the Weibo posts of users on Sina Weibo,China's largest social platform.The time of selected Weibo posts starts from the deployment time of “THAAD” on March 7 and ends on March 31 in 2017.There are 200 effective popular Weibo posts containing the keywords of “THAAD”,with a total of 93,079 forwards.At the same time,it studies the user identity symbol and the emotional connection mode of the key dissemination reposters of those Weibo posts in the process of communication hierarchy,and proposes the formation mode of nationalist interaction ritual in the “THAAD” event.Furthermore,the thesis adopts the case study of an individual Weibo user to explore the emotional energy circle model of different users' identities in the interaction.The thesis is mainly contributed to discussing the formation and characteristics of the contemporary Chinese nationalist interaction ritual online from the perspective of interactive rituals,and empirically analyzed the emotional connection mode and the circle mode among the individual users of Weibo,proposing the formation pattern of the interactive ritual in the nationalist event. |
