The rapid development of communication systems is inseparable from the support of antenna technology.With the popularization of 4G communication systems and the determination and release of 5G communication systems,the situation of faster and faster communication system updating has once again put forward new requirements for the development of antenna technology:broadband,low cross polarization,stable gain and pattern indicators within the operating bandwidth,etc.The magneto-electric dipole antenna has won the attention of many scholars for its superior performance.The research on the new complementary antenna of the magneto-electric dipole antenna has never stopped.This thesis combines the existing technology and related literature to study and design the broadband magnetic dipole antenna.The main working contents of the thesis are as follows:(1)A magneto-electric dipole antenna unit with a simple feed structure is designed.The feeding method of the crossed dipole antenna is applied to the magneto-electric dipole antenna,and the coaxial coupling feeding mode is used to replace the traditional ? type feeding line belt,achieving an impedance bandwidth of 47%(the standing wave ratio is less than 1.5)from 1.68GHz to 2.71 GHz.The antenna have a stable gain,maintaining good pattern indicators and low cross-polarization within the operating bandwidth.(2)A broadband magneto-electric dipole antenna is designed.The H-type feed line is formed by improving the traditional ?-type feed line strip,and the printed FR4 substrate is used instead of the traditional copper-based magneto-electric dipole radiating element.The horizontal electric dipole is designed as an octagonal gradient structure.And the antenna obtained an impedance bandwidth of 79.1%(standing wave ratio less than 1.5)covering 1.56 GHz-3.60 GHz.In order to prevent the serious deterioration of antenna gain and pattern at the high frequency,the antenna adopts a metal fenced reflector,which can effectively improve the deterioration of the gain and pattern.The antenna has a stable gain and low cross-polarization throughout the operating frequency band,and the radiation pattern maintains good uniformity and unidirectionality.
