With the full deployment of 4G and the arrival of 5G,the data traffic will be explosively increased. In the future, mobile communication systems will be in the form of the coexistence of multiple communication systems, and new requirements are placed on the overall system capacity and transmission rate. However, the land resources that can be used for the construction of base station are becoming tighter and tighter, and the density of expanding the layout in the existing station will also bring severe electromagnetic interference,so we can use the heterogeneous network of the base station,micro-base station and pico-base station to carry more data traffic. As a supplement to the traditional base station antenna, the micro-base station antenna is often arranged in the high-density scene with a complex environment such as large venues, which has the advantages of small size and easy installation and attracts much attention. However, the existing micro-base station antenna covers a single frequency band and cannot meet the form of coexistence of multiple communication systems in future communication systems. At the same time, how to meet the in-depth coverage in high-density scenarios is also one of the issues that need to be solved. So the research on the new dual-polarization micro-base station antennas with broadband and multi-band coexistence has become a fashionable direction.Combined with the engineering projects, this article studies the broadband and multi-band coexistence of micro-base antennas, including the following three aspects:Firstly,to solve the problem of the multi-band coexistence of micro-base station antennas,a dual-polarized micro-base station antenna covering 3G/4G LTE/5G band is designed. The antenna is composed of three dual-polarized antennas which working in different frequency bands and the combiners, the first antenna is based on the microstrip-feedback balun and dipole theory and works at 698-960MHz;the second antenna based on the underlying theoretical design of the coaxial-fed balun and the dipole and works at 1710-2690MHz;the third antenna based on the underlying conceptual model of the crossover dipole, working at 3300-5000MHz.Secondly,because it is more useful to use a single broadband antenna to achieve multi-band coexistence than a multi-antenna combination in engineering projects,a wideband dual-polarized antenna unit is designed based on the basic theory of electromagnetic dipole in this article. The antenna operates at 2.07-3.94 GHz and can cover both the LTE and the low frequencies of Sub-6G.which with stable gain and good radiation pattern throughout the operating band.At last, aiming at the engineering requirements for in-depth coverage of communication signals in high-density scenarios a dual-polarized narrow-beam antenna working in the Sub-6G frequency band was designed. The antenna unit operates at 3300-4500 MHz(VSWR<1.5),which with good pattern and isolation.Based on the basic theory of the planar array antenna, the above elements are composde d into a three × three planar array, and the design of the feeding network is completed to achieve the narrow beam characteristics of the overall antenna pattern.
