Mobile communication technology has developed rapidly in recent years.The fourth generation of communication systems has been fully popularized,and the application of 5G communication is accelerating.Base station antennas are important components of mobile communication systems.Miniaturization,intelligence,centralization,wideband,multi-band or dual polarization have become the core direction of base station antenna design.The rapid development of contemporary wireless communication services has greatly improved the performance requirements of antennas such as low cross polarization,wide frequency band,stable gain in the working frequency band,and good symmetry and directionality of the radiation pattern.This thesis mainly studies the following aspects.(1)A fan-shaped dual-polarized antenna was designed.The antenna uses a stepped feeder,and the horizontal electric dipole has a fan shape,achieving an impedance bandwidth of 60%(SWR ? 1.5)and an operating bandwidth ranging from 1.7 GHz to 3.15 GHz.Within the operating bandwidth,the gain of the antenna is capable of fluctuating within the range of 9.2 dBi-10.7 dBi.At the same time,the cross-polarization index of the antenna pattern is lower than-17dB,which has good directivity.Therefore,the antenna can be applied to multiple mobile communication systems such as 2G,3G,4G,etc.,and satisfies the applications of the second,third and fourth generation base station antennas.(2)A new diamond-shaped dual-polarized antenna was designed.The electric dipole metal patch is designed in a diamond shape,and the antenna adopts a linear gradient type of feed line.By improving the feeder structure,the traditional ?-type feeder line strip is evolved into a linear gradual ?-type feed line strip,so that the bandwidth of the antenna is greatly improved,achieving a relative working bandwidth of 83%(SWR ? 1.5).The antenna uses a rectangular box reflector to enhance the stability of the antenna pattern.The antenna mainly covers multiple frequency bands in 2G,3G,4G,5G(3.3GHz-3.6GHz)mobile communication systems,and also covers WiMAX and other frequency bands near 3.5GHz.(3)A new double-layer dual-band electromagnetic dipole antenna was designed.The antenna adopts a linear gradient ? type feed line strip.By designing a double-layer cross dipole structure,the antenna has stable gain and good directional radiation capability in different frequency bands of 1.50 GHz to 2.78 GHz and 4.78 GHz to 5.9 GHz.The antenna mainly covers 2G,3G,4G,the 5G frequency band of 4.8GHz-5.0GHz and the WLAN band near 5.3GHz,and is suitable for the application of base station antennas of various communication systems.
