Re-division Of Media Environment Theory From The Perspective Of Media

With the rapid change of media technology,media research began to enter the field of communication studies,and gradually became a hot topic in the academic circles.When it comes to the study of media,the emerging media environment school in the traditional critical school and empirical school is an unavoidable field.Although there are many brilliant theories about media environment,the most basic common idea of this school is the concept of media.The basic theory is pan-media theory.The common research paradigm is to study the relationship between people and media and society,which is also the foundation of the formation of media environment school.As far as the theoretical research of media environment itself is concerned,the most mainstream way of dividing its theory is to divide the scholars of media environment into founders according to the time sequence and the logic of theoretical inheritance.Through inheritance and interweaving,three generations of scholars' research and theory in different social backgrounds and media environments have gradually formed mature media thoughts of media environment.This division is feasible at the theoretical cognitive level at the beginning of the study,but with the development of media environment for nearly half a century,the depth of its theoretical research will be more detailed and in-depth,which is still through the way of time to divide the theory,it seems inadequate and profound.Therefore,starting from the relationship between human and media,society,the origin of media environment,starting from the most fundamental media view of media environment,and based on the media view,this paper divides the views of scholars in three different media periods: print media,electronic media and digital media,with the intention of dividing the views of different scholars on media,human and digital media.Different viewpoints on the relationship among the three elements of society have combed the theory of media environment from another angle,so as to clear up the theoretical chaos within media environment,Reflections and Enlightenments on Real Media Research.
