Study On Socialized Service Of University Libraries In East Guangdong

With the development of China's cultural undertakings and the continuous progress of society,people are increasingly eager to obtain more high-quality information resources.Faced with such a huge demand from the public,the resources provided by traditional public libraries are very difficult to satisfy both quantitatively and qualitatively.The limitation.?s of public library services are becoming more and more obvious.Academic libraries are actively opening up to the public and supplementing resources for our country's public cultural undertakings.This is not only an active move to comply with our country's "Reading for All"policy and building a"learning society"policy,but also an important way to better realize the library's own value.The paper first adopts the literature research method.The author collects a large number of literatures related to the socialization services of university libraries both at home and abroad,and carries out in-depth collation,classification and systematic analysis to form an impression on the subject.At the same time,the author also elaborates the related concepts,related theories,feasibility and necessity of the socialization of university libraries.Secondly,through the method of questionnaire survey,the paper analyzes the readers' knowledge of the socialized services in college libraries in the region and their opinions and suggestions.Then,through online surveys,field surveys,and other methods,the author further understands the status quo of the socialization services of the four college libraries of Huidong University,Shantou University,Hanshan Teachers College,and Heyuan Vocational and Technical College.comparison and analysis.Afterwards,we got the problems of the socialized service of college libraries in eastern Guangdong,that is,six problems such as lack of law,shortage of funds,lack of propaganda,lack of inter-library cooperation,backward construction of characteristic database,and failure of some colleges to actively implement socialized services.In the end,the author pointed out six countermeasures,including perfecting laws and regulations,raising funds from various sources,strengthening publicity and promotion,establishing library alliances,strengthening the construction of characteristic databases,and promoting the overall rollout of socialized services in college libraries in the east of Guangdong.
