Strategic Asset Pursuit OFDI For China's ICT Manufacturing Global The Impact Of Value Chain Status

With the rapid development of economic globalization,the “divisionalization” and “fragmentation” of international production have become mainstream production methods in the current era.At the same time,the status of China's ICT manufacturing global value chain is being developed and developed.The country's dual squeeze from the high end and the low end,and the promotion of the status of the global value chain is an urgent task.Foreign direct investment is a country that embeds its own industries and its productionrelated links into the global value chain.Since the “going out” strategy has been continuously deepened,China's ICT manufacturing foreign direct investment has entered a stage of rapid development,and investment levels have been rising.The investment range is all over the world.Acquiring advanced technical knowledge and management experience through strategic asset pursuit OFDI is the core and key to realizing the structural adjustment,transformation and upgrading of China's ICT manufacturing industry and the promotion of global value chain status.This paper first analyzes the strategic asset-seeking OFDI through four types of greenfield investment,cross-border mergers and acquisitions,strategic alliances and international R&D through different paths to influence the global value chain status of China's ICT manufacturing industry,and secondly,the strategic asset-seeking OFDI to the global value chain status.The impact mechanism is divided into three stages: interaction stage,absorption stage and diffusion stage.On this basis,the three-stage cyclic conduction model of strategic asset pursuit type OFDI affecting the global value chain status of China's ICT manufacturing is proposed.Third,select the ICT manufacturing representative company Huawei to conduct a case study and analyze the path and mechanism of the strategic asset pursuit OFDI to enhance Huawei's global value chain status.Finally,combining theoretical analysis and case analysis,it is concluded that the promotion of the global value chain status of China's ICT manufacturing industry is achieved through the three-stage circular transmission mechanism of strategic assets pursuit OFDI,and on how to fully utilize strategic assets.The impact of type OFDI on the global value chain status of ICT manufacturing industry and the promotion of the global value chain status of China's ICT manufacturing industry have provided relevant countermeasures and suggestions.
